She Broke All The Rules.

kevin browne

There was once someone who I had loved from the start
She broke all the rules inside my own breaking heart
But I'm all on my own looking down at the floor
And all I can see is that she loves me no more
So I cried like a kid and asked why about love
Until those blue skies shine so high up above
So here's to an old lovers kiss which I found
Just sitting there right on my own lonely ground
Give me time, give me space for all has yet to be done
When the Sun strolls into town that's when we have fun
All I needed was a chance just another teardrop glance
For the wheels of my fortune now took a chance
And her bright and beaming face had to conceal
That our love deep down inside has now been revealed.

Love the flow and rhyme of this romantic stop-and-start affair Kevin - hope the last line stays forever true.
