He Paints A Landscape
Little Michael paints a picture
Of a landscape every day
Some say he is a genius
With disheveled hair all gray
He paints flocks of seagulls
In the background of his scenes
With some sand dunes beautiful
Like sugar that’s been heaped
Each day the painting is different
With no scenes ever repeated
The lighting always changing
And the people coming and leaving
The tide ebbs and flows
As the pulse of ocean life
With the painter reminding everyone
That the landscape is alive
