-
words fall through me as I fail to
utter thoughts conjured in response silent
expressions that gaze upon me stop
me with a gasp where words should be
I exhale and look away shaking my head then
a nod in acceptance of that which did not need
to be said a single glance spoke countless
words thrust towards my knowing
days before and years of growing was
enough to form a void of understanding
I know you better than I do myself
this is why you are the better part of me
an unbreakable bond that only death can take
in passing within these days we live this
time is yours and mine your words fall
through me they become me
