Work Hard
My dad taught me many things
And working hard was one
Not matter what the job he said
Do the best that can be done
Take pride every single day
And use your working skills
And your talents as you make
the cabinets we build
Do the work at its pace
And don’t rush anything
Know that excellent carpentry
Does not hurry a thing
Remember to work safely
As you have your fun
And respect all your tools
Especially the bladed ones
Know when your work is over
And take some time to rest
And know that pride is vital
To work your very best
