Little Games

peeter pewter

Satyr, Satan, Satellite,

Lucifer - he brought the light

Prometheus with torch aflame

Took a dump on gods' little game.

Snakey gave apple to Eve,

He twisted up God's narrative.

Now humans see and use their brain.

Snake pisseth on God's little game.

People torture in His name,

Use genocide and feel no shame.

Bombs fall on children, shrapnel maims.

Humans play their own little games.

This subject deserves anger and you did it well.

Thank you. I liked the theme of mythology. The Light-Bringer figure, The Snake, The Prometheus Alien blah blah and that... Some of the human foundation myths have surprising connections. Like Greek Satyr and the Christian demons, depicted with hooves and horns and such... It tickles my imagination.

But also how humans blame their behavior on God, or some higher goal or ideology. A murderer is always a murderer, no matter what song he sings to justify himself.

Good angry write, these humans have a great deal for which to answer!

Thank you. Harnessed anger can be constructive, I suppose.
