The Soul's Window

PoeticPsycho

When you look into my eyes, will you see the pain I hide?
The violence, the neglection, is it all visible through my eyes?
I can feel it radiating, like the sun's vibrant rays
Except this isn't giving life, it's taking it in a subtle way

My eyes are dark; covering my souls window
Isolation, desolation, if it was see through
It festers in me, taking over this one beautiful being
Imprisoned feelings–sad toons my soul is singing

Cry and cry, but silent it will be
Until I carry this unspeakable pain I will never be free
