Paint A Picture
Paint me a picture of green
With some tall grasses and big pine trees
Have it be a spring time day
With winter gone far away
Paint the sky a shade of blue
In the warm afternoon
With a kite flying high
Witnessed by those far and wide
Include the rainbow’s colors there
With pastels painted everywhere
With a painted bunting too
He yellow, red, green and blue
Show an old barn still good
There with many seasons withstood
And some square bales of hay
In the loft for a colder day
And show some crows about the place
Busy searching every space
For a cricket or a frog
Under a old fallen log
In general paint the family farm
As if the kids still knew its charm
Playing outside here and there
Growing up in fresh clean air

Enjoyed every second. Wonderfully written.
Thanks Sierra. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Great place in which to be and to grow up.
Yes, I'm very thankful to have grown up in such a place.
A fine write again wc.
Thanks orchidee. I do not take your support for granted. Thanks for being there for me!
I could see every image - I grew up in fresh country air and was always out in it. Best way to grow up - you're right....
I'm flattered. Thanks for your support.
A beautiful image you've described here WC. One of a nice warm Spring day. Excellent!.
Thanks AP. I'm happy you liked it. Have a wonderful day (or night!)
