Dresses and The Work Place

Clark

last year i made you dinner and i wore the dress you liked. the one that was short in the front and long in the back. i had waited for you to come home from work all day. we didn't have much money but we had each other. you finally came home to me in the dress and to roman and broccoli. i had the table made and there was the huge red card i had bought at walmart while you were away for only 3 dollars and the bowls of food on each side of the table and the candle as our centerpiece. you were so happy. i was so happy.

this year i'm at work. i woke up and kept hitting the snooze button because i was exhausted from the tears i had shed last night. it had taken me an hour to realize what day it was. the coffee line had taken about fifteen minutes. i was exactly 2 seconds late to work. it has been pretty busy this morning but the people have been kind. i forgot my lunch today but someone brought donuts in either yesterday or today. my best friend works right behind me. we get paid tomorrow. i wonder if you think about me too.

Thanks CLARK ~ first let me apologise because some us (like ME & CHRISTINA S etc) have posted Happy Valentines Poems today ~ If I had read Yours I would not have posted mine ~ but its too late now. In the past I have been sad & lonely on Valentines Day ~ the Day makes the sadness worse. You are lovely and I hope and pray that for 14 February 2019 you will have found love again. Thinking of You ~ Yours BRIAN Love your last line "Stronger but Lonelier without you" It really made me think about both the Agony & Ecstasy of LOVE ~ B (UK)
