"The Traveler"

HeatherRose

Beyond the smoky roads,

birds chirping upon the air,

incoming-outgoing of does,

uprising of the suns glare.

Gardens and cornfields,

with a touch of green grass,

many roads that yield,

cars upcoming so fast.

I walk upon the hot dirt road,

in a bright sun dress,

heading to wherever the wind blows,

just searching for the best.

Never alone,

Happy within,

Going home,

With the will of the wind.
