Garden Break

w c

Garden Break

I needed a little break

To rest my weary mind

So I spent the day

Working in my garden high

The handle of my favorite rake

Felt good in my hands

And I went about my way

Tending to my plants

There was plenty fresh clean air

As I busied myself

And after I used my hoe

I was improved I felt

I also tended roses

On my busiest of days

With reward and purpose too

As I used my spade

Love was forever needed

As my garden I improved

The tender loving care

was the best that I could do
