Soaring Past the Mountains

poetboy5454

Night descends, another shadow in my path

To be broken, itching to unleash this wrath

From silence, a roar erupts from a dry voice

Surrounded by darkness of all colors left with no choice

Possibilities bursting at their very seams

Charging and leaping towards my dreams

Above the mountains I shall soar

From this silence, hear me roar

A shooting star bleeding across the night

All doubts scatter and flee in fright

Tearing free from these chains

Ready to face whatever remains

Whether blood or blade

This belief cannot fade

Raging flames searing deep inside

No more fears to run and hide

An otherworldly strength burns within my limbs

Away from these wave-churning seas I swim

Away from these storm-ridden skies I fly

To shatter any preconceived limit daring to mark my path

Only another shadow to be broken by my unyielding wrath

Don’t make tomorrow an excuse for today

Every moment holds possibility, never delay

    with a great ending!
    You are very sagacious
    for a 15 year old! I applaud
