Rose Garden

Jabberwocky

"Come back to the garden
My love" I appeal.
"The storm is passed,
The climate ideal."

"There's beauty still standing
Amidst the debris,
There's sunshine for you,
There's shadow for me".

She stands looking distant
At what I can't know,
Wherever she sees
She's wanting to go.

Each the past with a diff'rent
Complexion adorns;
I see the roses,
She sees the thorns.

      Lol, most of mine are!
I'm more jolly in real life 🙂

I guess my "man of constant sorrow" persona slips sometimes 🙂

Good one J, at least you can see the roses and they can lead to beauty.
