What is Emotion?
A thought, a feeling or a notion,
Come and go like the waves,
That go back and forth upon the ocean
Is it like flames and fire,
With dark smoke and aches of desire,
Overwhelming warmth and passion,
Or ice cold like the arctic in the North.
Like the puffs of clouds in the sky,
Fleeting, shy with a heavy sigh
Not fast, maybe just a little slow
All it takes is a little blow.
Despondency, pain and sadness,
Lives on amongst all the madness,
With stresses, concern and commotion,
It all does have influence on one’s emotion.
But there is love, joy and devotion,
Much better than any pill, any potion
It takes away the shame and sorrow
So, we feel no longer hollow,
No longer empty.

i love how you use nature to describe emotions .. the clouds, fire.. the ocean and i love your ending line , about love 🙂
