Why is March so horribly cold
The thermometer tells me
It's warmer than January
By 20 degrees
And the bird bath water
Refuses to freeze
But the tips of my fingers
Are chilled to the bone
And I want to stay home
The furnace is going full blast
But I'm past
Believing the numbers
They're lying
It's a conspiracy
To keep me sitting
In front of the fire
Or the last breath of Winter
Who is feeling bitter
Since he is dying
It's terminal
Only a few weeks to live
I'll help with that
In any way I can
Murder she wrote
Let's choke
The seasonal visiting villain

Damn..... I need the sunshine........! Morning Laura (your p.m.)........
A fine write Lorna. The UK had a taste last week, but not as severe as yours.
Lorna
a wonderful reflection of how you feel with winter!
I think I speak many of us, let the spring unfold quickly:)
MIchael
It's going to make us suffer every single inch of the way Michael........... arrgghhhh.
Ah - an apt finalƩ to your your expressive outcry against this wintery interlude Lorna. A warm read to take the edge off the cold temperature here.
Thanks Fay - and perversely today is full of sunshine!
I too long for spring. I thank God it's springing!
