Forget me

On The Lines of Freedom

There she stood silent
Looking to the light
Up there is violent
Oh yes, it will bite

The trees loom above
Watching with dark hate
Fearing there no love
They won’t think the date

The likely sure showed
The way would not stay
A strong rope soon bowed
It was her birthday
