Toast

Jabberwocky

Toast it lands
Butter side down
Causing most
to pout and frown
Not me
What falls
Is gone I say
I wouldn't eat it
Anyway.

Ode to being an inspiration on toast: "The buttered toast fell on the floor
Which I had cleaned not long before
I was alone, so come what may
      Confess I ate it anyway"

Little poems like these are awesome. Great bit of a chuckle and some good fun. Keep it up.

This reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost. "A Patch of Old Snow." Great read that one.

Thanks. The comparison flatters me, for which I'm obviously grateful 🙂
