You

Brooke_Carters

You magnificent deity,
You honest soul,
You brought me to life.

You lit lights in my darknesses, a match to a mighty beacon.
You brought hope, where i thought all was lost.
You held me. In your arms. We laughed. Through the night. Hearts beating. Breaths racing.
You made me drowsy off the moment, wishing the tomorrow away.

You caressed and searched me, hands soft as thorns.
You took away what wasn't yours, never to be returned.
You hold me. By the arms. And just laugh. Scared for life. Heart beating. Breath racing.
You make me drowsy off something, i wish the moment away.

You deceitful bastard,
You unholy thief,
You took my life from me.
