VR World

Carmine

This experience

This world

is unique

and

sad

it shows me the world

it shows me the cultures

and

i can't handle this feeling

a feeling that makes you feel third person

following someone else story

i can't stay in the real world

because i rather stay in the virtual world

where i am protected and where i can see unworldly things

every word that i hear makes me go insane

i can't hold back myself anymore

i express my mask in the world

but in the virtual world

i feel my soul can be expressed

in

more ways then one

it feels like a world i belong in

people with the same humor

people with the same problems

this world feels more expressive and it hurts

it really hurts when a person in front of you

is

so far away from you

and

that you can't do much then only listen

i swore an oath

that you can stand under my umbrella

or

under my roof

because i rather have you happy

then sad

my weak heart can't handle this

sadness

this emotions that keeps piling

for

everyday that goes

i feel my arms shake

close to the armory i have

and

everyday that goes

my legs feels numb

because i can't raise up

and

everyday i feel

my broken and beaten soul

itching for freedom

for happiness

for a new world

we are all just insane people

we are all just people with existential crisis

we are all just screaming our lungs until we want to die

someone just hear the call and save this world that we want to escape.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is something i got in mind, after being in the world of VR. I thought it would always be a happy place to escape, but i was wrong. I have been in VR for to long and to deep. I finally heared the wrongs and tbh it breaks my heart so bad, i can't handle stuff like this because i will become speechless. But even tho, i still try my best.
