War

HMH

I thought I heard fireworks, but it was only the bombs going off in my brain.

There is constant war that people don't see, hell sometimes I don't even realise it.

But the feeling of unknowing doesn't last long.
I will soon remember the hate and pain that paralyzes me in morning.

It feels never ending, and I will never be the winner and my white flag means nothing.

I thought it was the 4th of July, but really it was just another day of fighting in my mind.
