Morning Sun.

Wallace

The early morning sun does show my age.

As i awake and ready myself for another day on life's stage.

I have been there done it and got the t shirt.

In life I've experienced love and hurt.

The early birds eat worms at ease.

Their singing voice to my ear does please.

I pour hot water in the teapot.

Turn on the radio and listen to people without faces chat.

I brown white bread under the grill.

Drink and eat until I've had my fill.

The morning sun shines warm and bright.

The early birds with succulent worms in their beaks to their young take flight.

I adorn my sunglasses and my sun hat.

Exit to life's well lit stage, and say to myself what a peaceful life I've got.
