Go to our special place

And wait for me there

Be patient the best you can

And know that I’ll appear

 

See our carved initials

And the heart that I made

Know that I’ll soon be there

And we’ll enjoy our little date

 

Smile beneath the beechnut

And anticipate our time

Wait a minute more

And know that you are mine

 

Sit on our little bench

And watch the others there

And know that very soon

My love I will declare

 

Wait on me a minute

And please do not leave

Know a kiss I’m due

With assurance we’ll always be
