I dreamt and was blessed

With a wonderful life

Enjoying all my days

With times good and bright

 

I dreamt and was blessed

With many precious things

Like the flowering dogwoods 

And beautiful evergreens

 

I dreamt and was blessed

And also entertained

With scenes to make me smile

As the movies played

 

I dreamt and was blessed

With love in my life

Known throughout the day

With the scenes good and bright

 

I dreamt and was blessed

With a life all together

Knowing all my days

And the dreamiest of weather
