morning walk

onepauly

sometimes i walk to the store

to buy some food and more

in the wee hours

just before dawn

what do i want this early morn

some milk eggs and bread

for a start

and whatever else temts my heart

like that cheescake i see

looks like it was made

just for me

now home after

i had been

in retrospect

i put down my pen

Love your little morning walk and now you have made me hungry! I'll have to find cheesecake!

      you are so kind

Hi Paul, - -that early morning walk must be a tonic without the arrival of noise - -- - hope that cheesecake tasted just as good as it looked. Good read.

I thought it went well with the poem.

Early morning walks are fabulous with or without the cheesecake.

yea, the milk, bread, and eggs should suffice.
