Of those 7 billion lives,

Some are experiencing heartbreak,

While some are experiencing love.

Some are learning what loss is for the first time,

While some are learning they are expecting.

Some are feeling the happiest they’ve ever felt,

While some are feeling the saddest they’ve ever felt.

No matter where you fall right now,

Just remember,

You are not alone.

    We might add 12 zeros for one billion in the UK I think. Are you in the USA? What is one billion there? 9 zeros?

    Thanks for sharing & caring MGL ~ It is a salutary statistic ! Each of those 7+ billion People is a Human Being like you and I with Hopes & Prayers & Great Expectations ~ Half of them don't have a decent pair of shoes ~ A Third are undernourished ~ A Quarter don't have decent housing ~ A tenth are in War Zones ~ we are the fortunate 10% ! By 2050 I will only be 67 and there will be 10 billion of us all fighting for the same CRUST ! By 2100 I will be in the "Afterlife" but there could be a Global Population of 15 billion ~ what sort of World will our Great-grandchildren experience ? This poem has opened Pandora's Sustainability Box ~ but for the sake of the UNBORN we must face facts and be much much much more GREENER !
