What if Humans weren't the smart ones?

E-Poems

The lime loved the lime light and the lemon lived in heaven.

The number eight kissed number nine and also number seven.

The sun sprinted for the moon, the moon thought about the earth.

The earth fancied the grass but the grass had Astro-turf

Ducks walked on top of lakes, fish drove miles through the ocean.

Trees lived throughout the land and leaves fell with deep devotion.

Tulips dared to blossom and the cactus dreamed to JIVE

Oxygen instilled the air, just so Parachutes could sky dive.

The piano gave a song so that the dance floor got attention.

The machinery gave birth to new baby invention.

The wheel barrow lead the way, the human decided to follow.

The tongue educated the human how to lick, taste and swallow.

What if humans weren’t the smart ones and this life was just a dream.

Reality was that objects, life and food are more alive then what they seem.

Would this be completely bizarre? Is it all fantasy?

Or is it completely marvellous... a real change to humanity.

WELCOME FRIEND ~ Thanks for your first POEM ~ Amazing & Amusing ! The EARTH is a Living Planet and all ling things ~ Flora & Fauna have built in intelligence to enable them to do what they do ! Increasingly ROBOTS are replacing Humans in the Workplace ! To some extent the Flora & Fauna are genetically programmed to do a limited number of things ~ but humans because of their superior BRAINS are capable of anything & everything ! So I think Planet of the Apes is Science Fiction and will never be Science Fact ! However we are in the ROBOT AGE and this makes your poem credible ! Thanks f\or scaring ! Yours BRIAN (UK) Love the Picture "Road to Somewhere !" Please check my Poems ~ Thanks B.

It's a hook for sure. It pecked at my sense of curiosity, because at first I had no idea what the poem was about. It jumped out and hit me with a pan.
