Rain

Caroline Elizabeth

You dim the sky
and drown the earth
remind me how I cry
when my chest hurts.

You dampen spirits
and quiet my voice
until you must hear it
and have no choice.

Silence me, rain.
I dare you to try.
Each force of nature in vain
until the day I die.

Rain and pain combined creatively. Awesome rhyming talent that ought to cheer. Soulful ink dropping like rain aesthetically poetic. Thumbs up.

Very good emotive write but you must always remember:
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain."
