Blue And Silver

It was ninety years ago,
that the Yankees first place,
started to get old.
They were on top,
since nineteen twenty-six -
with all of their pitches,
and all of their hits.
I don't to much,
about the yankees,
accept that they are always good.
They always win much longer,
then they really should.
But that was so,
long ago.
It was ninety years,
to this day.
The Yankees lost it all -
two years worth,
of first place.
