Forever True

Resa71

Of course I remember you.

How can I forget,

You left me here,

Drowning in a sea of regret.

Hope has escaped me

I’ve misplaced my faith.

I fear it’s myself,

I shall Forsake.

Time flies by faster, every day.

I’ve tried to catch it but,

It still slips away.

People keep saying “ believe and things will improve “.

But it seems the things I desire,

Drift further away ,with my every move.

I hope I’m forgiven, these things I that I do.

Those of you I have loved,

Please know it was real,

And forever true.
