At The Lake

At The Lake

At our beautiful lake

Are happy times around

With so many days

Spent swimming and clowning around

When we're not fishing

We walk along the shore

Thanking God that we can be

With our one adored

As we walk along

There blows a gentle breeze

With butterflies flying around

On wings so delicately

At our wonderful lake

Mallardl ducks swim 'round

With their downy ones

Making duckling sounds

At the busy marina

Are paddle boats happily shared

With teens peddling away

While others watch them there

There at the campground

Are others relaxing too

And enjoying the beautiful day

With a love of life renewed

A lovely write wc. I'll be there if it's a gentle breeze but not an icy blast! lol.
