Forest Prince

w c

Forest Prince

She was a beautiful mother

And stood proudly in the sun

With a new one in the world

That had never heard a gun

Hiding was the thing

That kept him there alive

With trespassers every day

As he tried to hide

He began to venture out

And was spotted by some squirrels

And some crows that cawed

Disturbing his little world

Others were his friends

As they kept their voices low

Their mornings there spent glad

Running to and fro

He was crowned one day

And took his place with others

Somewhat shy themselves

And preferring heavy cover

He survived and would reign

Regal in his ways

With charm in his woods

For many splendid days

A lovely write and pic wc. Many people help with conservation, etc. A few horrid people kill wildlife, etc.
