- I’ve gotten over this last chapter
I don’t think she liked me she just liked my banter
- And I was fine and satisfied with that
Make her laugh while we would chat
- But now I am bored and empty
Leaving my feelings for her and wondering plenty
- If there is another close by
If I caught her attention and she caught my eye
- And I hope it will it will go better than the past
We will mutually like each other and have a relationship that will last
- I don’t if I am asking for too much or being to bold
But I need to find someone to hold

This is great. The perpetual search and hope for all of us unsuccessful at pairing-off long term.
Good to see positive writing whilst the poetic mind is 'unattached' to a partner rather than the 'woe is me' tragic writings seen elsewhere.
Thx dusk for the generous words
Very good write, that search for the right person can be hard but that person is out there and you will find her.
Thx finch
