Someone to hold

Netashi

  • I’ve gotten over this last chapter

I don’t think she liked me she just liked my banter

  • And I was fine and satisfied with that

Make her laugh while we would chat

  • But now I am bored and empty

Leaving my feelings for her and wondering plenty

  • If there is another close by

If I caught her attention and she caught my eye

  • And I hope it will it will go better than the past

We will mutually like each other and have a relationship that will last

  • I don’t if I am asking for too much or being to bold

But I need to find someone to hold

This is great. The perpetual search and hope for all of us unsuccessful at pairing-off long term.
Good to see positive writing whilst the poetic mind is 'unattached' to a partner rather than the 'woe is me' tragic writings seen elsewhere.
