The Great Society

 

I longed for perfect love

And You let me in

To your mansion up above

Where true love has no end

 

Here there are many rooms

And we laugh and play

And are glad to be together

To give you all our praise

 

We live our lives here carefree

With our family and friends

All our live-long days

Safe from trial and sin

                    

All here do belong

In the Great Society

Here living in the sky

In perfect harmony

 

When we’re not smiling

We are eating cake

And enjoying our perfect lives

With blessings every day

 

Every citizen gets a vote

And approves of it all

All our days in paradise

Where He answers every call
