Daytime Dawning

Daytime Dawning

Let not the morning go

Without a look or two

See how it is made

With sun to shine for you

Know its composition

And be thankful for its light

See the moon’s position

When it escapes the night

Say hello to dawning

And see the colors there

Know that sights are coming

And are original with flare

Know the Painter at work

And each beautiful stroke

As He demonstrates to you

His love and approach

Keep not to the night

As it slowly leaves

But see the dawning light

And hear the symphony

We too often take these things for granted, it is good to be reminded to take a look while we can. Beautiful job.

Thank you, Lasergraph. I try to stay spiritually in tune. Admiring the morning is a good way to get into that frame of mind.

Great reminder to never take each day for granted! We never know which will be our last. Beautifully descriptive.

Thanks, SLR. I try to be aware each day that my higher power is at work in my life. That includes each day that's a gift from Him. Thanks for your comment.

Mornings are so wonderful, I see the dawn nearly every day. Good write.

Thanks, Goldfinch. It's easy to take dawns for granted. For some reason, i think of trumpets playing when i see a sunrise.
