    i do,
    and the things i do,
    i do.

      I like to think of as in terms of Marcel Duchamp. He could have used anything for his piece of art 'Fountain', but he chose to use a toilet. He could have picked a sink, bath, fountain or anything else, but he used what he used to create his art. I could have written the poem slightly different, or completely different, but I didn't.

      I prefer my version. Your poem is completely different in terms of its essence (Descartes), impact - (Humour apparently) and meaning (Truth, Philosophy and anything else you can find in it.) - no offence. If you like your version, submit it as a piece of poetry and see what people think. That is my reason for submitting this piece.

        No offence meant or implied. Your piece was funny, i hoped you'd read my lighthearted comment in comedic mood. I do apologise for any offence i have raised.

          I took no offence, I was just giving you my honest opinion, as I always try to do. Sometimes the way I respond to comments may sound like I have been offended or I am meaning to cause offence, but that is not the case. I just hardly ever change my poetry once it is written (apart from a few edits for misspelling etc.) and when I reply to a comment, I go with my instincts and say what I am thinking at that moment in time.
