refreshed

onepauly

from the earth

flows a stream

sparkling water

so cold and clean

joining my hands

to make a cup

dipping them in

to scoop some up

a swallow or two

and im on my way

other things to do

but these thoughts will stay

This reminds me of a placei used to live. Nearby there was a cave and a stream with the clearest, coldest, most gloriously pure water I've ever tasted! I would do that exact thing, dipping my hands together into it to get a drink on my walks. Thank you for this reminder of a wonderful memory! Great write!
