I want to be happy,
And get rid of this frown,
I try and just smile,
But it's getting me down.
Coz all of these demons,
Are sat on my shoulder,
And It seems to get worse,
The more I get older.
I guess I'm alright,
Most of the time,
I want strawberries & peaches,
Not lemon & lime.
If you have depression,
It's an illness for real,
I've had it before,
So I know how you feel ❤

WELCOME PEARL ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ sad but cathartic ~ it takes bottle to post ~ but we are all thinking of you ! I'm 35 so I can empathise ! I'm engaged to ANGELA (30) (see my poems) but she's in NEW ZEALAND for a YEAR ! It is depressing cos we can skype (11,500 miles) but we can't touch ! Thinking of you Fresh UK Strawberries & Peaches will soon be in season ~ every Blessing ~ please check my POEMS. The way MPS works is we comment on each other Poems and build up a Circle of MPS Friends ~ Yours BRIAN
