Sunset

a.5724

The water is so blue,

Bluer than I've ever seen.

It makes its way towards my feet,

Perhaps maybe its just a dream.

The sky which was once so blue,

Changes into other hues.

The sun which stood up ever so high,

Sits down and says bye to the sky.

The sand is so warm and fine.

It comes to rest between my thighs.

It makes me safe and comforts me,

Until it goes back to the sea.

Everything here comes and goes,

Effortlessly going with the flow.

I sit beside the water so blue.

Why is the water so very blue?

"I say to myself ~ what a Wonderful World !"

Thanks for sharing FRIEND ~ love sunsets ~ everyone is different ~ all over the World !
Never forget that white light from the Sun is all the colours of the RAINBOW (R O Y G B I V) mixed together and it comes out WHITE not BLACK ! Plants absorb the red & blue so they reflect the green ~ The blue colour of the sky & sea is due to refraction. When raindrops (little prisms) let sunlight pass through them it forms a rainbow ! When the sunsets the white light is refracted giving red ~ orange ~ yellow ~ blue and violet ~ awesome.
Your beautiful Poem evokes all the sensations and colour of SUNSET over the SEA ~ excellent ! Thanks for caring ~ please check my POEMS ~ Yours BRIAN
