Winter

hannabanana

The grieving winter approaching, the mournful Christmas

mornings, the only blissful moments you get are the lights, laughter, and wide-eyed children waiting for a fictional character to arrive. Staring at the hopelessness white walls in complete isolation, the aching sorrow of seasonal depression kicking in. You start off so innocent with no memories to look back on because you’re too young and so naive and self- righteous and no one can bring you down.

  • BRIAN & ANGELA

WELCOME HANNAH ~ Thanks for your first Poem ! MPS is a very supportive site so I won't remind you it still SPRING and WINTER is a million hours away ! Why so melancholic ? I agree Winter can be depressing especially if you live in Michigan were it lasts for ever ! I love CHRISTMAS and all the silly things that go with it (Men never grow up !) and it does make a hard Winter bearable ! My life was more void when I was TEEN (over ten years ago) and as I've grown up (35) responsibility and respect does compensate ! Thanks for sharing ~ please check my Poems and if you have any questions please ask ! Yours BRIAN (UK)
