To heal the sin sick soul !
Sometimes I feel discouraged
And feel my Life's in vain
And then the Holy Spirit
Revives my soul again !
If you can Pray like Peter
If you can Preach like Paul
Go home and tell you Neighbours
That JESUS died for all !

At HARRY & MEGHAN'S Wedding yesterday ~ The American
Bishop preached a very powerful sermon on LOVE ! He made
reference to THE BALM IN GILEAD which is a Biblical term
and refers to God's desire to heal us SPIRITUALLY from the
"Sickness & Discouragement of SIN" through the Atoning
Death of JESUS on the Cross and the filling by the HOLY
SPIRIT ~ have you experienced this healing ? BRIAN

A fine write and fine healing to experience Brian. We need spiritual understanding to experience it, I feel. Now a woman new Bishop of London appointed - does not bother me, but some stamp out women priests.
Sometimes - if some had a 'touch' or renewed touch of this healing, we would know it. Some would not 'mess about' with too much ritual and what-have-you. Some are too busy crossing themselves, etc ,that they are worn out before they've started the service!
Or - put Him, the Holy Spirit, back into His box (we cannot!) until next Pentecost.
VERY WELL SAID STEVE ~ The Holy Spirit is UNIVERSAL & OMNIPRESENT ~ His Box is the Universe ! I've often expressed in my POEMS ~ That H.Sapiens Mark 2 (WOMAN) was a massive improvement on Mark 1 Men & Patriarchy have always tried to subjugate Ladies because we know (but won't admit it !) that ladies are superior in everything they do including being BISHOPS ! In the BIBLE Eve ~ Sarah ~ Deborah ~ Mary Magdalene ~ The Virgin Mary etc are good examples and in History Joan of Arc ~ Boudecia ~ Marie Curie ~ Queen Elizabeth 1 & 2 ~ Theresa May and of course YOUR MUM & MINE ! Thanks CHRIS ~ Life is a bit hectic ~ I seem to be more busy than ever ~ at Church ~ in the Community and of course at Work ! Because ANGELA is 11 hours ahead we can only communicate first thing in the Morning or last thing at night ! It's 10pm here so it is 9am in Auckland (NZ) and I guess about 5pm in Your State ! Pleased you liked the Poem etc ~ it was something the USA Bishop kept mentioning in his sermon "The Balm in Gilead !" We all loved him he was a real wake up for the stuffy British Royal Family ~ but Harry is a FREE SPIRIT and it seemed in order and MEGHAN is an ideal foil for him ! Did you watch it ?
