HOLIDAYS ~ AN ACROSTIC ~ BRIANSODES !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have always wanted to hang-glide,
Off no particular cliff it's true, but i'd
Love to go surfing too, so Cornwall,
If the weather's being nice, would do.
Don't want to spend loads on travel,
And fancy hotels really don't appeal;
Your average campervan would suit
Sand, salty air, and the liberty i'd feel.
ICELAND ~ ICE ~ SNOW ~ HOT SPRINGS ~ BRIANSODES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WHERE'D I like to go ?
I'd love to go to ICELAND
And frolic in the Ice & Snow
And then swim in the Hot Springs
And come out with a bright red rosy GLOW
To sleep inside an warn IGLOO
And court a CUDDLY ESKIMO
I always shop @ ICELAND
In the ICE & SNOW

Thanks for visiting ~ Please add another POEM

Himalayan templed peaks invite;
Oxford starlings take amazing flight;
Lake District nights are starry bright...
I don't know which i'd like the best!
Doubt mountains offer peaceful rest,
And starlings tend to make a mess...
You know, i'll visit Kalahari's plains
So i might be blessed by their April rains.

NEXT YEAR JERUSALEM ! A SONNET ~ BRIANSODES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NEXT YEAR I'll walk
Where JESUS walked in days
Of long ago ~ along each leafy
Path He knew with tender steps & slow
Those little Hills will not change
Sweet Peace will fill the air
NEXT YEAR I'll walk where
JESUS walked and feel
His presence there !
