I can do it, let me do it
Cause I'm Two
If I spill it, if I break it
I am sorry
Cause I'm Two
Mommy, can I , will you let me
please don't get me,I can dress me
I will show you
cause I'm two
Please don't help me
I will do it ,if you let me
cause I'm two
When I can't do it
you will help me
Cause I'm only two.

Written for my Grandson Andrew
Welcome ZARA ~ Thanks for your first Poem (and comment !) ~ BEAUTIFUL ! Kids grow up fast these days ~ but in retrospect I remember being TWO and beginning to develop independence ! My mum encouraged me to do things (especially cooking ~ she was a Confectioner) and helping about the house etc. A great blessing to have a GRANDSON and be part of his development. Thanks for caring ~ more please ~ Please check my poems ~ Yours BRIAN
Sweet Little poem. I have a three year old and I surely relate. Thank you for sharing.
Your welcome. It really does sound like a young toddler's view on being independent to a point.
