Tune: Bryn Calfaria

('Lord enthroned in heavenly splendour')

Hebrews Chapter 13 parts

******

Jesus Christ the same for always

Yesterday, today, all days

And for ever He shall be so

Confident, we can Him know

He our high priest, new Covenant

He made, from the Father sent

Jesus, that He might sanctify

Us, did His own blood apply

And suffered outside the city

Let us go too, with Him be

Share His reproach, for this world not

our eternal dwelling lot

Now the God of peace that did bring

Again from the dead, we sing

Our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd

Of the sheep, we have Him heard

His blood been shed for penitent

The e'erlasting Covenant

He make you perfect and complete

In every good work replete

To do His will, working in you

Things well-pleasing here anew

Through Jesus Christ, we in Him share

To whom be glory for e'er

Thanks Lorna. Well, we're getting there, through His help. Erm, we're not perfect yet! Well, maybe you and I are - 99% that is!

Thanks Laura. Not the most cosy epistle/letter of the New Testament, but has its comforts too.
