High-horse

Gemma

I'm more than this

I'm less then that

Make up your mind.

What if I gave you a reason

To sit on your high-horse

And talk that sh*t.

To scream at me

Then love again.

But did you really

Love me again.

Did you really

Think you could.

Say you're sorry

But its okay.

I'm used to it.

Get on your high-horse

And talk that sh*t.

But it's okay

I'm used it it.

Sometimes it takes years of being an outsider to figure out how to be an insider. Don't give in.

WELCOME GEM ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ very sassy ! I love AUSTRALIA and AUSTRALIANS ~ those I've met have been laid back & outspoken ~ I think i would make a good Australian ~ I was born in Liverpool ! We ALL get put down and feel EXCLUDED but if we have self~respect and self~confidence we can always rise above it and enjoy our position and role in every situation we find ourselves in ! I often get "knocked down" but never "knocked out" ! In all life's circumstances ~ Home ~ School ~ Work and the Community ~ People are ambivalent ~ They SCREAM ~ then HUG ~ sometimes they say SORRY ! My attitude is to ignore their HIGH-HORSENESS and cut them down to size and leave them fumbling in their own HORSE S**T ! Thanks for sharing ~ more please ~ YOURS BRIAN (UK) MPS works by us mutually commenting on each others Poems ~ You can also build up a cohort of MPS Friends ~ OK Please check my POEMS ~ Thanks B !
