Love

Lovely brown skin

Do you love me for the  things that will fade, my young face, I'm pretty in my own way, my voluptuous body how my hips curve and my butt sticks out how between my legs it flows like a river my skin is so soft now and glowing my hair grows long and it's healthy. I dream of the day someone tells me they love me because my smile warms their heart  because of the way I make them laugh how when I look into their eyes they feel something they can't quite explain the warmth and calmness they feel when laying next to me nothing sexual or sensual just love. Love without sex is real love, love with sex is confusing, do you love me or do you love what I can do anyone would think they loved that, everyone loves to feel good. Even if it felt better than anything you've ever had or our connection was stronger than you ever felt how can you know now. Imagine me old and grey losing hair all dried up not what I used to be do you still feel the same. Imagine me before you knew how I felt DO YOU FEEL THE SAME. Do you love me

WELCOME FRIEND ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ Love it because you express very frankly what your think REAL LOVE IS and what it is NOT ! In my experience of LOVE some of the things you mention like Youthful Beauty (which you possess !) and Sex are in fact very transient and I observe that they fade with AGE ~ I am still Young ! In a LADY I look at her Character & Personality which is not transient and in fact improves with age. To me the Colour ~ Class ~ Culture etc of my Girl Friends is secondary to the Inner Lady ~ Her Soul and Spirit is what I seek to know not just her Body ! I am engaged to a Lady who is half-Spanish and I see that as a bonus and she has a very Beautiful Soul & Spirit and it is that I love more than her Body ~ OK So my answer to the final question you pose is: YES I would love you for WHO you are Soul & Spirit ~ the Inner YOU ~ the Real YOU and not just the external BODY you inhabit ~ OK ! Not all MEN think like that but I do and my MUM raised me to respect all Ladies for who THEY ARE INDIVIDUALLY ~ OK ~ Yours BRIAN (UK) ~ Please check my POEMS ~ Thanks B !

That was a very good piece about love, and I often wonder how a person can just love the other for their looks. That makes no sence. It is very true. Beauty fades. I am the type of person that does not believe in premarital sex - with good reason. Two people can truely be in love, but once that moment comes, if they are not married, that love turns to lust, and every time you see eachother there is sex. Eventually, that is the only thing the two have in common. I do not see how a person can marry five to seven times in their life.
Of course looks matter to each person. There is nothing wrong with beauty. However, beauty is not what makes a person. Beauty eventually fades. Keep on writing. God has given you a gift. Persistence is key
