Welcome the Nights

Lorna

Have you ever looked at someone

Who says Have a Nice Day

And thought with quiet irony

Easy for you to say

However looked at

In quite another way

The best trajectory for daylight hours

Is for them to go away

Many say that but each day you can get out of bed it is a good day,

I enjoyed this as I also look forward to late evening/night hours. I spend the day waiting for it to be almost over. Great post. Definitely relatable.

Nice. I really like this. The way it reads in my mind provokes me to think of a person that isn’t as simple as this “could be read”. But rather that creation that doesn’t want to have been created any longer. The person that can’t have a nice day because those daylight hours shine on what they dislike the most...there self. It’s sadly beautiful actually. Thank you for this!

And yours is a wonderful comment........... instead of "themselves" ... it's "situations" really.
