Silence

MrNobody40

I thought I had so much to say
That time was infinite
It's wisdom clearly defined
Yet now I wonder as I write
Hollowed and naked and its presence
Where its secrets were hidden
If time had been lost to them
For those who stray outside
Forgotten with so much left behind
And with my pen unable to express it
I fell silent
Alone and silent

Is there anything as intimidating to a writer as a blank sheet of paper?!?! So much to say by such a struggle sometimes to find exactly the right words.

Sometimes when you don't know what to write about, you write about not knowing what to write about

I haven't actually tried that. I'll have to give it a whirl. (Or should I say scribble?)

The pen can always write silently.
