Dragon

Jabberwocky

"I wait my dragon slayer
He'll come for me so strong
And slay for me the dragon
Whose ill I've borne so long"

"My knight will come to save me
Of this I am so sure
With heart of love and brav'ry
To free a maiden pure"

"I wait throughout a moon time
I wait throughout the sun
With whispering that seeks
To leave my hope undone"

"Alone I dream of voices
That urge me look below
At dull and torn armour
'neath dragon claws I grow"

Good flow and rhythm. I'd be interested to read a longer version of this. If you feel like writing one be sure to let me know. Good imagery.

I get your point. It wants another two verses perhaps. What can I say? They didn't come to me 🙂

I understand completely. I have that problem myself on a pretty regular basis.
