I should have known
this Preston boy was
made for me, with his dodgy hip and dodgy knee.
As I arrived late for our first date...“no problem mate”, said he, sat proudly there, smiling eyes, with no hurrrr. Yep, this Preston boy was made for me, with his dodgy hip and his dodgy knee.
Laughter, banter, happy was me, as handsome as the eye could see, no way this guy will play me, this Preston boy was made for me, with his dodgy hip n dodgy knee.
My heart melted as I sat down, impressed with his manners n how he looked at me, right there...my heart said to me... this Preston boy was made for me with his dodgy hip and dodgy knee.
“Come closer he said” as he looked at me, now heart racing and I could see, this Preston boy was made for me with his dodgy hip and dodgy knee.
The weeks fly past and before I knew, he’d whisked me off to pastures new; chickens feet, buses, the call of finiiiiiish! Oh how we laughed, me and he, this Preston boy was made for me, with a dodgy hip and dodgy knee.
Now months in love and getting older, he’s now more fragile with dodgy shoulder! But ya know, I don’t care, I love what I see, this Preston boy was made for me, with a dodgy hip and dodgy knee.
So there you have it, he’ll do for me, forever and ever, in love you’ll see, me and he, love now bolder, he was made for me, my boy from Preston, with dodgy hip, knee n shoulder!
I love you my Preston Boy!
