At The Gates Of Glory

Tune: Day Star

('Christ whose glory fills the skies')

Psalm 24

*******

The earth it e'er be the LORD's

Created all by His words

And all the fullness it be

His and all the world too, see

All that there do dwell therein

Of each country, kith and kin

For He has true it founded

Upon the seas, there He did

Upon the floods established

All was made as he had wished

Who shall ascend to His hill?

Who stand in holy place still?

They that have clean hands, pure heart

Following Him in every part

They that have not uplifted

Soul to secret sin, nor hid

Vanity, or deceit none

But serve Him, the righteous one

They shall receive the blessing

From the LORD, praise to Him bring

And from their God salvation

Those of each people, nation

These are they that seek His face

This the generation, race

Lift up your heads, O you gates

And you lasting doors, your states

Be now open and your king

Of glory, LORD o'er eac hthing

Shall come in, he strong, mighty

In battle, LORD of hosts He

    Lift up your heads indeed.

Thanks Gold. Well, I hope your approach to the 'gates of glory' - erm, meaning more immediately, the church gates, not the pearly ones yet - is somewhat glorious today and each week for you!

      Orchi,
      Glorious...indeed!
      Have a grand Sunday!
