Third person

Daveyboyz

Third person abounds,

pretentiousness surrounds,

His favourite subject himself,

he thinks he's top-shelf,

I must ask him why,

he doesn't write "I"

references by name,

some sort of game,

more often as "he"

never an I or a we.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I note on the section "about yourself" on an art site how many talk about themselves in third person.

I have just written a biog for a retailer and they have rewritten it as you say - in the third person. Not that I care as long as they sell my work. I do like the write !!
